Introduction

Light first, everything else second

Most decisions in a room start with furniture and end with lighting as an afterthought. We build the other way around: pick the lamp first, and let its glow set the tone for how the room should feel.

That means fewer, better pieces. A ceramic base with real weight in your hand. A linen shade that softens a bulb into something you'd actually want to sit near in the evening. Nothing added just to fill a shelf.

Why we started with lamps

We didn't set out to build a home goods brand. We started with one frustration: most lamps are either forgettable or trying too hard, with not much in between.

So we picked a handful of materials we trusted — ceramic, glass, linen, stoneware — and built lamps around what they do best, instead of forcing a look onto them.

The range grew slowly, one shape at a time, always with the same question in mind: would this still feel right in a room five years from now?
